  • What is Sea Moss?
    Sea Moss, is a type of algae/seaweed that has been scientifically proven to promote healthy weight loss, help you build lean muscle, rev up energy and metabolism as well as super-charge your immune system. One serving of sea moss contains 90% of the vitamins and nutrients your body needs in a day to be its healthiest.
  • Where does sea moss come from?
    Sea Moss is naturally grown and harvested in both warm and cold waters. It is native to the coastlines of North America, Europe, and the Caribbean, mostly located in Jamaica and Antigua. There are two main forms and varieties of sea moss: Gracilaria and Chondrus crispus. Bth are equally high in nutritional value supplying many minerals and vitamins for your body to perform at its peak self!
  • Which kind of sea moss do you offer?
    Currently we offer both varieties. Our GEL sea moss, gracilaria, is sustainably sourced from the pristine Caribbean waters of Saint Lucia, where sand and water quality score among the highest in the world! Our capsules contain, chondrus Crispus, also known as “Irish Moss”. Both of our sea moss varieties are imported and are 100% naturally grown and made without preservative.
  • Is your sea moss pure and organic?
    Yes! Our sea moss is 100% wildcrafted, raw and organic. Sustainably sourced and imported directly from the pristine waters of St. Lucia, located in the Caribbean. We do not add any preservatives at all in our products.
  • Is your sea moss gluten free?
    Yes, our sea moss is 100% gluten free.
  • Is your sea moss vegan or vegetarian friendly?
    All of our products are Vegetarian friendly, while most is Vegan friendly. Our flavored gels, are the only products that are NOT vegan friendly. We make all of the flavors with organic honey.
  • Are there any other certifications?
    Yes, we are a minority owned American based company. We are fully insured and our products are processed in a GMP facility while being 3rd party tested and approved!
  • What are the potential health benefits?
    Some of the main potential benefits of using our sea moss may include: May promote heart health. Studies have found that sea moss reduces LDL (bad) cholesterol and acts as a blood thinner, which may help reduce the risk of heart disease. May promote healthy skin. It’s beneficial for alleviating symptoms associated with eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. The citrulline- arginine found in sea moss releases compounds that are essential for collagen production and the healing of burns. May support strengthen bones and joints.   • How do i use sea moss gel?
    For sea moss gel, although can be taken throughout the day, we recommend consuming, 1-2 tablespoons preferably first thing in the morning on an empty stomach for best effects. You can either consume straight or mixed in to your favorite food, smoothie or drink of choice. As this is based on your preference, at the Good Moss, all of our flavored gels are designed and created, with you in mind, to eat directly as a spoonful. Although Sea Moss gel is mainly used as a source of vitamins and minerals to benefit overall health, that isn’t the only use for it.   • How long will the gel last?
    Our sea moss gel is an all pure and organic superfood, that MUST remain refrigerated while consuming. Generally, our gels last up to 4 weeks. You may also store your gel in the freezer to prolong shelf life, up to 3 months. ** Please Note: we are NOT responsible for broken glass jars when freezing. You may also store your sea moss gel in a BPA-free plastic container.
  • Is there a difference between the gel and capsules?
    Although, both gels and capsules offer the same health benefits, the results may vary with each individual. This is mostly a choice of preference and life style. Gels must remain refrigerated, while capsules are great for on the go lifestyle, in which they do not require refrigeration.
  • What does the gel taste like?
    The plain sea moss gel has a very faint "sea breeze" smell, while the taste is very minimal, hardly any taste at all. This can be mixed in liquid to help consume. Our flavored gels, however, are designed with you in mind! These taste absolutely amazing and are meant to be consumed directly as a spoonful.
  • Can i take sea moss if i am pregnant?
    Sea moss is a superfood, made with an abundance of minerals and vitamins. A true nutrient dense gift to replenish your body to perform its best. However, all pregnancies are different, we recommend that you consult with your physician prior to consuming.
  • Can i give my children sea moss gel?
    Yes, you absolutely can. Sea moss is a nutrient dense superfood providing many minerals and vitamins. The only multi vitamin needed! However, we recommend consulting with your physician prior to consumption.
  • Can i take sea moss if i have a shellfish/ seafood allergy?
    Yes. Sea moss is a sea vegetable. It is NOT considered shellfish or seafood.
